Microengineered culture substrates: Aleria’s E2dish (patent pending) are novel multiwell silicone plates supporting technically simple and high-throughput recording of electrical activity from developing neurons in vitro.
Each pair of wells of the E2dish is connected by integrated micropipettes implemented as a 1 mm long microchannels on the bottom side of the silicone unit.In this way, the E2 technology provides an electrophysiological recording system that does not require pipette micropisitioning
E2drive: The E2drive amplifier is used with the E2dishes and E2soft to record activity from the substrate-integrated micrpipettes in loose-patch mode.
