Aortyx is a pioneer company that aims at providing a new generation of endovascular devices to treat vascular diseases.

Our technology focuses on tissue regeneration by mimicking the aorta biomechanical environment. It provides a suitable milieu for cell migration and proliferation in a bioresorbable platform that minimizes differences with the natural dynamics of the aorta.

Bioresorbable - Our material has been designed to dissolve progressively two years after its implantation. No toxic nor inflammatory responses are expected.
Viscoelastic - The microstructure of our device is specially designed to mimic the mechanical properties of the aorta. Our patch has the ability to expand and contract with every cardiac cycle.
Thrombogenic - Controlled clotting of the false lumen allows a better restoration of flow through the true lumen and to avoid peripheral malperfusion.
Regenerative - The extracellular matrix molecules that decorate the patch promote re-endothelialization of the affected dissected part.
Drug delivery platform - Our device could be used as a local drug delivery platform thanks to the specially designed microstructure and the material used to create it.
