Impact: ESG & SDG Goals

Sustainable Development Goals

Improve the early stratification of Cancer patient for the correct therapeutic management Reduce the cost for the National healthcare system Improve the quality of lives of patients

Market Data

Problem: Immune check-point inhibitor (ICI) treatment efficacy ranges from 30-40% in sensitive tumors to <5% in immuneresistant tumors. Current Predictive methods have low sensitivity and poor specificity identifying patients that could benefit from ICI Treatment. Solution: IMMETCOL is a 10-gene signature that classifies patients with solid tumors in 3 different clusters depending on the immuno-metabolic profile, allowing the clinician to choose the best treatment strategy for each patient.

Development of an algorithm based on 10-gene signature for treatment stratification in Cancer patients

There is a need on the Identification ICI responder patients better than the Standard of Care. The national healthcare system need to reduce the cost related to non-responder patients as well as provide new therapeutics approaches to non-responder patients.

Patients suffering from a cancer in order to classify them regarding the metabolic characteristics to offer them an efficient treatment strategy.

DeepTech Area

Funding

Actually, the project has funds to validate the first prototype of the Point of Care in a rellevant clinical environment We need a partner in order to define the regulatory roadmap and also to support the next clinical phases and the regulatory affairs.
