Main technology offer
New method for the manufacture of electrodes useful for the OER (Oxygen Evolution Reaction) in water electrolysis for Green Hydrogen Production. The method is very simple and takes place in mild conditions, while producing electrodes having improved efficiency thanks to an enhanced specific catalyst area. In addition, the electrode is made of cheap and readily available method.

GOAL 13: Climate Action
Environmental: energy usage and efficiency; climate change; waste reduction; greenhouse gas emissions; carbon footprint reduction
This technology will allow the access to green hydrogen with reduced cost, contributint to decarbonization of economy
Market Data
The European comission has stablished 2050 as the date to totally decarbonize the economy of the europea union and substitute fossil fuels by hydrogen or other alternative renewable energies. One of the main limitations is the cost of green hydrogen is 3-4 times more than the hydrogen obtained from fossil fuels (1-1.5 $/Kg). The green hydrogen production target of 22% due to complete decarbonization of economy is impossible to reach with current electrode technology. With this technology it is possible to access new electrodes towards hydrogen procuction with better properties and reduced costs compared with the state of the art.

Funding
Required investment to expand operations ww
Venture Capital
Adquisition of industrial facility to host the manufacturing line Technology scaled-up to provide industrial electrodes
Technology Status
Electrodes produced at low temperature in seconds; Required low-cost raw materials and unskilled workforce (low COGS); Very high catalytic surface area (very high voltage efficiency); No binder required; the catalyst is produced in situ, directly into the substrate; Better performance, high durability, no cracking or flaking
Cost of electricity
The technology is validated and the spin off is working on the scale up manufacturing process and commercialization. Target of 18 key players in electrolyser and fuel cell manufacturers
