This technology will allow the access to green hydrogen with reduced cost, contributint to decarbonization of economy
Market Data
The nitrides market is domained by single metal nitride formulations. Our technology allow the access to multimetallic nitrides with 1-4 different metals through very cheap raw materials. The AEM hydrogen production technology still require new catalyst to improve its competitiviness vs alternative technologies such as alkaline or PEM; Our ICIQ proprietary catalyst formulation allow reduce hydrogen production costs through the increase of the catalyst lifetime and the reduction of the energy inputs.

Funding
Required funding to scale up the technology, optimize the methodology towards single crystal production (semiconductor requirement) and validate the catalyst in AEM hydrogen production cells in collaboration with an industrial partner
Partnership with an industrial partner to validate our catalyst and license the manufacturing process to key metal nitride industrial manufacturers
Process scale-up; Validation of catalyst formulation in hydrogen production AEM cells
Technology Status
Competitive technology towards the access of multimetallic nitrides, key materials for semiconductors, materials and hydrogen production. The technology allow the complete control over nitride composition up to four metals and reduce cost since require readily available materials
Investment in manufacturing equipment. Partnership with AEM Technology-based industry Semiconductor-layer generation technology
Contact with stakeholders (semiconductors, hydrogen production) allowed us to identify some key requirements to further develope in order to transfer the technology. Apply for funding to develope the technology according to the stakeholders inputs. License the synthetic technology to industrial manufacturers and commercialize the outstading catalyst formulation for hydrogen production through spin off creation

Additional information
This new material contributes to the improvement of the competitivity and cost reduction of hydrogen production technology. In particular, the described catalyst formulation allows the reduction of electricity consumption and the increase of the electro-membrane catalyst lifetime compared to other technologies involved in the production of hydrogen through AEM technologies found in the market.
