Metabolomics

The facility offers consulting and services in fields of study that require proteomics or metabolomics techniques based on mass spectrometry. We configure the analysis of metabolites using differential or directed profiles (specific molecules) in any type of biological fluid or tissue including respiratory exhalation. We will perfect any new test in these two fields required by our customers. The activity of Proteomics and Metabolomics Core Facility is based on collaborations with researchers to refine the necessary technique, analyze samples and prepare the results. We focus on the biomedical field; identification and validation of biomarkers, disease mechanisms through protein expression profiles, post-translation modifications, and protein-protein interactions.

QqT Hybrid spectrometer coupled to a nano liquid chromotagraph for identification of peptides and proteins. It can also carry out metabolite analysis in linear mode. Nominal resolution of 20,000. It is used in tandem mode to identfiy peptides in single mode for quantification for profile analyses.
