Psicoapp is a free online application that has three objectives:
Reduce the time and effort when writing the psychopathological examination
Systematize and homogenize psychopathological examinations and their terminology.
Generate a global psychopathology database for each user.
The application was created by the AppliCare team, members of the Institute of Neuropsychiatry and Addictions of the Parc de Salut Mar, the Mar Institute for Medical Research and the CIBERSAM, as a computer solution that allows to facilitate the preparation of psychopathological examinations either in the clinical field , teaching or research.
As the result of the group and network work of several professionals, it was possible to create an easy-to-use tool, with a simple, well-structured interface, which ensures that all the main psychopathological aspects are explored. It also has tools where the conceptual definition of each of the psychopathological signs is explained, being very useful for residents in training.
It is made up of the following sections: General aspects, Psychomotricity, Sensory perception, Language and thought, Anxiety, Suicidal affect and behavior, Insight and Side effects of pharmacological treatment.
