Institut d’Investigació i Innovació Parc Taulí (I3PT)The aim of the Parc Taulí Research and Innovation Institute (I3PT) is to facilitate and promote activity linked to research and innovation through a sustainable model that promotes the transfer of knowledge and results to society, adding value to help improve general well-being. To this end, we work with different key actors in our field in all knowledge generation and transfer processes.

The I3PT structures its knowledge into seven major specialised areas and fosters new lines of research within two major cross-cutting areas: omics and digital transformation.

The I3PT welcomes professionals who carry out research and innovation in the different organisations in the Parc Taulí Health Corporation. It is managed by the Parc Taulí Foundation and also hosts researchers from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) through translational research partnerships.

3D laboratory

ENGINEERING MEDICINE The 3D Laboratory, or 3DPTLab, is a technological laboratory within the I3PT Research and Innovation Institute, located in the city of Sabadell, in Catalonia. We are the meeting point between medicine and engineering. We work closely with health professionals, companies, research centers and universities looking for solutions to the challenges of the health sector through 3D technology..

Biobank I3PT

The I3PT Biobank was created in 2019 thanks to the close collaboration between the Institute and various services at Parc Taulí. It is a support platform for research staff that aims to centralize the collections of biological samples used in research. The mission of the Biobank is to develop itself as a supplier of biological material for research, both for I3PT research staff and for external research staff, with the guarantee that the biological material and the associated clinical data are high quality, within the framework of the regulations specified in the Spanish Law on Biobanks.
