Company Description

Our current mission is to provide solutions to patients with cancer, both paediatric and adult. Our future perspective is to also provide solutions to patients who suffer from infections or who need advanced therapies for marrow and cartilage regeneration, marrow injuries, etc.

Our first drug, CEB-01, meets an oncological and surgical need that has not yet been met by helping surgeons in their surgical oncology interventions.

Our objective is for CEB-01 to become part of the Standard of Care in surgical oncology.

Product description

CEB-01 is a biocompatible and biodegradable membrane that locally and safely releases high doses of chemotherapy after the excision of a cancerous tumour.

The product meets an unmet oncological and surgical need, reducing the recurrence and spreading of tumoral cells and improving the local control of cancer after an intervention.

We have developed our own innovative proprietary technology, which has been patented in the United States, the European Union and China.

CEB-01 has finalised the Preclinical Phase. In January 2020 we received the approval from the AEMPS (Spanish Medicines and Medical Products Agency) to start the Clinical Phase 2a, in which we have already started the clinical trials with adult patients at the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau in Barcelona, highly distinguished in Spain for Soft Tissue Sarcomas (STS).

We have received the GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) certification by the AEMPS and for the production of CEB-01, and we hold an Orphan Drug Designation (ODD) from the European Union for CEB-01 in Soft Tissue Sarcomas.
